The Washburn D10S Acoustic Guitar is one of the best marketing guitars in the world. Not everything that is usual is great notwithstanding so does this one live up to it is popularity and achieve the status of been one of the best acoustic guitars around.
It has a mahogany neck with a totally bound rosewood fretboard and a nice natural finish ( a black version is likewise available). The tuners are grover styled and are beauteous good, if not amazing.
The sound is a pretty deep, full tone which is perfective for those that don’t want to be messing when it comes to with amps and electric and just want to sit down and strum. It may likewise be somewhat deafening if the strings are strummed a tad bit harder. A lower action would have made the guitar even better to play.
I reviewed the D10S shortly after testing the EG530SSC and altho the Washburn has a great sound it doesn’t rather match that of the Takamine guitar altho in fairness the Takamine is more expensive.
The build of the Washburn is very sturdy and is unquestionably built to last, though it is in all likelihood reasonable to say that if you do become a more severe player you will need to upgrade.
For the price of the Washburn D10S you aren’t going to come throughout galore better guitars. The Alvarez RD8 is perchance the best substitute if this is the most you may afford. If you have A little more cash then others are a better option but the in terms of value for cash this is still one of the best acoustic guitars available.

The best sounding guitar I’ve listened to. By dcman When you review this model on the internet, you’ll read mostly praises and sometimes a complaint on the tonal quality. The praises, I understand, The complaints, they are unfounded. This guitar’s tonal range is almost from a deep bass sound right thru to the harsh tinny sound. If you can’t the sound you are looking for, you don’t know what you are looking for. To describe sound is impossible, but the best way I can describe this guitar is the full bodied sound is so fat and full it could be a one instrument band. There is no lack in the full body sound. If someone told me this was a $[...] guitar, it would hold it’s own in how it sounds. It’s a shame Washburn is discontinuing it. I’ve already bought 2 of these and 2 of it’s bigger brother the OE-40. This is one of those guitars that move your playing up to the next level. You can hear it at http://www.paprap.com in a song called led “A taste of Candy”. All guitar parts were done with this guitar. My advice, buy it fast before you can’t get it anymore. I need only Red and Blue and I’ll own both the OE40 and OE30 Guitars in every model. I’ve been playing since the 70′s, and this guitar (even though China Made) has impressed me that much!
I side note: I have read about flaws in the finish on some. I have two with these “flaws”. They are minor. Some of the critics out there are thinking this guitar is a $[...] hand made model and the slightest imperfection is a major flaw. My take on it.. With the way this guitar sounds, it could be an unfinished rotting log and I’d still buy it for the sound. Is that clear or what?

BUY THIS GUITAR!! By Percival the Sucky This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer and you will never find such a deal again. This guitar is comparable to $1000 guitars with a few minor exceptions. You may have heard people claim that it is heavy, but it is just well made and substantial. High quality construction, impeccable sound (after string change). Above all this guitar is fully adjustable, which is rare in such a financial bargain. Tune-o-matic bridge, easy access to truss rod and humbuckers. It also has stock Grover tuners which would cost you 60-80 bucks to buy aside from the guitar. Before you buy a more expensive model, buy this guitar and change nothing but the strings. Of all the reviews I have read, the complaints are very easily solved. Firstly when you get this guitar, don’t play it for a couple of days, I know its hard, but give the wood time to adjust to the temperature of its new environment, then tune it, then play it. PLay it hard and break as many strings as you can, so you can hurry and replace them so you can see the full potential of this instrumental bargain.

Great Guitar For A Little Money By J. Ellick I bought this guitar from a Authorized Washburn Dealer for only $125.00. It came with a cord and allen wrench. Very well made. I’ve been playing for 30 years and I’ve owned classic Gibson’s and Fender’s,This guitar looks good and sounds good. I adjusted the action and raised the neck pickup, now it plays smooth. My guitar was made in Indonesia. I would recommend this guitar for beginners and pros. They come in several colors. Black is great but cherry is nice too.
