Grover Locking Rotomatic Guitar Mini Tuners
The same modern engineering and classic design as the introductory Rotomatics, but with littler buttons for 6-in-line guitars, or for those who prefer a little more space for their fingers. Guitar strings are changed more often than guitar head string posts. Eventually, they need altering too. The Grover GX1239 Mini Locking Rotomatic Tuner Post (set of 6) is a sturdy associate for your guitar strings to cling for support. With an 18:1 tuning proportionality (over the more established 14:1), you have more latitude in fine-tuning your guitar for your own playing styles. Internal-cam locking string posts and 18:1 fine tuning are built into Rotomatic midsize cast housings to fit 6-in-line pegheads. As you tune, the post mechanically locks the string. You’ll need less string wraps, modify strings faster, and your tremolo will have more precise return-to-pitch. The 18:1 proportionality provides for finer tuning and dandier stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination. This new version of the Rotomatic uses the precise housing as the original. Only the gearing has changed. Includes washers, bushing and wood screws.

Grover 3+3 Mini Locking Tuning Machines By Frugal Guitarist87 These are a direct fit for my PRS SE Santana guitar. They will probably outlast me and my grandchildren. I wish the knobs looked more like what PRS uses though so they looked more like factory parts instead of aftermarket, but whatever. Price is agreeable (around 45 American dollars for chrome at the time I purchased). Since the price is probably cheaper than what you could get a set of PRS SE factory tuners(or probably any brand name) for, I just don’t understand why they dont use them in the first place or at least an in-house locking no name brand. That is the biggest hang up separating these guitars from their mega $$$$$ brethren.(hey Sterling by music man can do it at this price range)But I digress. If you are replacing crappy tuners with 10mm mounting holes you may not have to drill anything exept the little holes where the screws go in if you get these. If you’re lucky you won’t. I didn’t. These things lock as you tune (no thumb wheel) and makes a marked improvement in tuning stability(not floyd rose perfect though). The holes where you run the string are offset so you could possibly string them up wrong. Just pay attention and you’ll be okay.

I like the quality By Samuel M. Stone One of the tuners on my old Yamaha acoustic guitar broke, so I hunt for replacement and decided to go with Grover 406C Mini. I am happy with my decision. They are easy to install, and the guitar stays tuned even though we have some climate swings in our area lately. One problem I have is the location of the screw hole. The picture shows that it is in the middle, so I thought I didn’t have to drill holes. However, when they arrived, it turns out to be on the corner. Anyway, new screw holes might keep the tuners stabler.

Excellent Locking Tuners By Parrhesiastes I bought these locking tuners because I heard they were a direct drop-in replacement for the tuners on the PRS SE. They are indeed a direct replacement and I must say they are a big improvement in terms of being able to tune the guitar more accurately and have it stay in tune.
