 First Uke

I decided about a month ago that I wanted to learn to play the ukulele and started scouring the internet for a good deal. This was one of the first ones I looked at and I loved the blue. I was frustrated by the lack of reviews so I figured I’d write one! I also liked the fact that it was a starter package and came with more than just the uke itself. The item shipped quickly and arrived in pretty good condition – there were one or two blemishes in the paint (but for a cheap mass produced uke, I expected that). The “starter package” is not as helpful as it first appears. According to what I’ve read, you shouldn’t use guitar picks on uke strings – though the strings it comes with are very hard nylon, so it won’t cause too much damage (but do yourself a favor and get some Aquila strings – your fingers and your ears will thank you). The strap doesn’t seem to have any place to attach it to the instrument, and my tuner was semi-broken. The bag is wonderful, though.
I really like the sound. My digital tuner says it plays notes slightly sharp, but I can’t tell and when I get good enough to use it with kids at storytimes (librarian) they won’t be able to tell either. Overall, I really like this instrument (I named her Stella Blue) and would recommend it for someone just starting out. (Also for anyone just starting out, this website: ukulelehunt.com is seriously helpful)

Nice Uklulele

I bought this Ukulele for a gift I also Play all kind of instruments and this is a great gift for a kid what wants learn to play it
The strings stay quite in tune
Its important to know that every new string instrument takes time the tuning should stay in place as the string stretches
The Pink color is a nice Hawaii girly color as well
I also decided to buy this ukulele was beacuse it comes with the kit the Picks Bag And tuner ,strap so I do not need to pay extra for these parts
