Kirk Whalum has freed his most recent album entitled For You. It’s a rare day without doubt that I get a CD from an artisan that I may truth fully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I’m more than happy to announce that’s incisively what I ought to say in regards to this one. There merely isn’t a bad one in the bunch. No fillers here at all. For You has a nicely varied, mix of 10 tracks that are very well written songs by this without doubt or question gifted artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a genuinely great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I may only imagine are his own personal experiences. At dissimilar points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships may surely be heard. Kirk Whalum is one of those musicians that has the capacity to just bowl you over with his talent. The kind of artisan it’s in truth a treat to be competent to listen to. Listen to For You and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dis-like in regards to it. The songs are inspired, the production is merely outstanding, and Mr. Whalum is definetly in top form. If you’re even mildly into Smooth Jazz music you’ll take delight in this album. While the entire album is in truth very good some of my favorites are track 2, Ascension, track 4, My All, and track 8, Love For Life. My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 5, That’s The Way Loves Goes. Wow!
